What are the principles in Europe with regard to spatial planning and land use planning for renewable energies, solar energy and, above all, the installation of wind power plants? Which political structures and processes, legal rules, instruments, principles, criteria dominate the planning of renewable energy plants in different European countries – Germany, France and Denmark? Which aspects of the models could be considered by countries in Latin America?

These are key questions that we have analyzed in the framework of the comparative study on spatial planning for renewable energies in the different legal-political models also concentrating on different models of economic participation.

This study has been carried out in cooperation with Büro F, specialized in market studies on renewable energies, and FA Reitzig, lawyer specialized in administrative law.
