Davos Energy Week: Startup Pitches and Online Expo – application and recruitment period till 12 January, 2021

Pleased to be a partner of Davos Energy Week and the DEW Startup Pitch Competition.

Davos Energy Week Startup Pitch Competition is a worldwide online startup event aiming to create a platform for startups from the energy sector to pitch their ideas to the global audience. Startups will have a chance to present their ideas to the representatives of specialized VCs and energy professionals from around the world.

The participants of the Startup Program will become part of the Online Startup Expo to show their product to the DEW’s attendees. Startup teams will also have a great networking opportunity to connect with top industry representatives.

The Prize Fund will include a direct donation from contest’s sponsors. The winning package will also include additional prizes from the partners and organizers.

Applications will be collected till 12 January 2021 from energy startups having their products ready to market.

Davos Energy Week

Davos Energy Week is a three-day event (19-21 January 2021), the main goal of which is to draw the attention of the world’s business leaders to the key issues of the energy industry It includes a series of online panels, keynotes, presentations, startup pitches and other activities enhanced by offline engagements for the participants – top managers of the energy companies, sustainability officers and activists, consultants, and international experts.

It was initially planned as a physical space on the sidelines of the world’s biggest political and economic gathering in Davos. Inasmuch as coronavirus continues to spread globally, the majority of the events that had been planned to take place in Davos have been cancelled. Regardless of what happened with those events, the need in global discussion remained. That is why bringing Davos Energy Week to a new level.

The main goals of the event are to bring together key energy players with all other businesses, to discuss key touch points between energy sector and all other businesses globally, to draw more attention of the global business community to the issues of global energy industry.
