On 1 January 2023, the new Supply Chain Act will come into force in Germany. Specifically, this new german law is called “Act on Corporate Due Diligence to Prevent Human Rights Violations in Supply Chains” abbreviated to “Act on Corporate Due Diligence in Supply Chains” in short: Supply Chain Due Diligence Act, “Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz”, abbreviated LkSG.
